This morning we drove out to a huge lake and the water-source for Croydon, Lake Belmore. The lake is only a few kilometres from Croydon. Rob and Rick put the dingy in and I put the kayak in. I had a lovely time paddling around while the boys checked the red claw-pots and tried to unsuccessfully catch some fish.
Returning to the caravan park the temperature
was rising so after lunch we all went down to the pool to keep cool. Later in
the afternoon the boys checked out the display at the Tourist Information
centre. Of course I couldn’t help myself and returned with them. From here we
walked to the hotel and met Kerry. We had a drink and enjoyed chatting and
watching the world go by, sitting out on the large veranda.
