After a wonderful stay at Cape Hillsborough we said goodbye and headed to our next stop, Yeppoon a beautiful coastal town, 40 minutes north of Rockhampton. We had an uneventful drive stopping at a café famous for its pies, the Flaggy Rock Café for coffee and of course a pie. It is located in the middle of nowhere on the Bruce Highway and was very busy. We were glad we stopped as the coffee and pie were well worth it. Once we arrived at Yeppoon, we settled in, did some grocery shopping, visited the Information centre and took a tour to a nearby lookout where we nearly were blown away!
