Sunday 7th August Rollingstone

We’ve returned to Rollingstone, just north of Townsville on the coast. We had a fairly long drive today of 470 odd kilometres but it was interesting. We stopped at a great spot for lunch, Stockyard Creek. The Queensland government had constructed the road we were travelling on, primarily to transport beef and there was quite a lot of information and history at Stockyard Creek. We called into Townsville to restock and have booked into Rollingstone for the next two nights. The last time we were here, about three weeks ago, we found a nice-looking golf course so Rob is hoping to play there tomorrow.
